Chris Whitty
No, not ‘the real’ Chris Whitty as I have been asked many times over the past few years!
I’ve been a member of Audax UK since 2019, joining not long after my first audax ride, the relatively short but most excellent ‘Tour of the Hills’ 100k event organised by the West Surrey Cycling Club.
Since then I have enjoyed riding in many events, most memorably LEL in 2022 and PBP in 2023. I would have been a fellow LEJOG cyclist this year if it were not for injury – but there is always 2026 to look forward to. So to Plan b, having taken the time off work I thought the only thing to do was to offer my support to Andy and the event Team.
